Pumpkin kadabu( sweet idly)

It's one of the authentic dish of south karnataka( only in malenadu region). It's very healthy and delicious and simple to do .


Ingredients

1. 1 cup grated pumpkin
2.  1 cup grated jaggery
3.  1 cup upama rava
4.  1/4 cup grated dry coconut powder
5. 1/4 cup seasame  seeds
6. 1 tea spoon dry ginger and elaichi powder




Originally it made with haldi leaves( turmeric) . We have to tie that batter in haldi leaves and have to steam it. Nowadays we won't get so its upgraded version.

Mix all the ingredients at a time , (don't keep mix for long time, pumpkin will leave the water)
In a Idli set Keep that mix as Idli size and steam it for 15 minutes and eat with ghee.
