Lemon Rasam



Lemon Rasam is one of my favourite rasams. I can simply drink it all day long.
This is so flavorful and incredibly easy to make.

Water 1.5 cups
Toor Dal 3 tablespoons cooked and diluted with 1 cup water.
Green Chillies 3 slit
Tomatoes 3 small chopped
Coriander leaves few chopped
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Hing 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Rasam powder 1/2 tablespoon
mustard seeds 1 tsp
ghee 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice from  1 big lemon.

In a vessel add tomatoes, green chillies, water, turmeric powder, rasam powder and salt.Add hing when this starts boiling.
Boil well till the raw smell disappears.
Now pour toor dal diluted with water. Add coriander leaves.
When it starts frothing switch off flame.
Add lemon juice.
Season mustard seeds in ghee and add to the rasam.

Enjoy this delicious rasam with yummy Potato fry.
